Role & Responsibilities:
(a) Responsible for developing, promoting, and soliciting sales for company’s range of products which includes developing new businesses and servicing the existing accounts in Malaysia.
(b) Handle the incoming inquiries from customers in MRO/OEM and Projects
(c) Coordinate with colleagues for necessary quotations/customer orders/logistics/quality and facilitate communication with customers
(d) Promote a variety of products from a number of different suppliers
(e) Well-versed in the market situation; potentials, opportunities, and threats
(f) Pose good sales tactics in persuading potential and existing customers with the use of technical knowledge.
(g) Manage customers’ and principals’ expectations for a win-win situation
(h) Management of sales team, including developing a sales team to achieve targets and bring in revenue, if any.
(i) Responsible and ensure customers are assigned to achieve yearly set goals and budget.
(j) Outstation traveling on short notice is necessary
(k) Submit the sales activity update/presentations to your immediate supervisor.
(l) Execute business strategies and sales plans formulated by the Management
(m) Observing all Company Safety standards and Corporate Compliance.
(n) Any other duties/projects as assigned by your immediate supervisor
Requirements:
(a) Possess at least a minimum Diploma in Engineering / Mechanical discipline or equivalent
(b) Minimum 5 years of experience in selling engineering products to various industries such as OEM, MRO, and General Contractor
(c) Computer literate, excellent communication and presentation skills
(d) Strong knowledge of sales and negotiation skills
(e) Team and sales-oriented, results-driven, self-starter with the ability to work well with little supervision and lead a team to meet business goals
(f) Knowledge of mechanical engineering products is an added advantage
(g) Enthusiastic, independent, motivated, good team player who is result-oriented and customer-focused
(h) Willing to travel and be relocated when necessary
(i) Possess a valid driving license and own transport
